The House of Hades Series

Coming 2024

BOOK ONE: STYX

Nine years ago, Stella and her BFF Jimmy had a fight and never spoke again. She’s now Styx, the drummer in a successful rock band. Jimmy is working in a music store. But there’s going to be a documentary about the band, and Jimmy is the only one who knew Stella back then. They’re going to see each other again.

That fight was the biggest mistake of Jimmy’s life, and he’s relieved to finally have a chance to apologize to Stella. The subsequent opportunity to tour with the band as part of a music video is totally unexpected, but he can’t pass it up. Jimmy finds himself pretending to date Styx, spending time with her as friends again, and when they add benefits to their relationship, he never wants the tour to end.

But the final concert date is coming fast. Jimmy has commitments to the family business, and Styx has her celebrity life to return to. Unless they might be more than just friends…

BOOK 2: DEMETER

Paying to keep illicit nude photos of me offline was part of being a rockstar that I didn’t sign up for. Neither was finding sleeping pictures of me plastered across the internet. But that’s my reality, so it shouldn’t be a surprise that I’m wary of photographers. Just my luck that the new tour photographer pushes all my buttons.

When the attraction keeps on building, I gamble and negotiate a sex only arrangement with him, ending with the tour. The sex is great, but sadly, it turns out he’s a nice guy. He helps me with my blackmail problem and gives me confidence to trust in the me behind the sexy façade I’m known for.

I’m falling for him. But he’s going back to his small town to care for his disabled brother, and there’s no room in his life for a rock star like me.

BOOK 3: PERSEPHONE

Martha, stage name Persephone, has been the driving force behind House of Hades. Her family made her choose between them and music, so she was determined to make the band a success. When the band lost its first drummer after a breakup with lead singer Herb, she banned any band dating. The no-drugs rule lost them their bass player. It’s been a struggle, especially for a woman, and she’s survived an assault in the process, but HOH has made it. She won’t gamble with their success.

Herb, stage name, Cerberus, started the band HOH with his drummer girlfriend, a bass player friend, and Martha on guitar. Herb was attracted to Martha, so he broke up with his girlfriend, and she quit. When Martha invoked the no dating rule for the band, Herb knew he had no chance with her. He plays the field with groupies, carefully avoiding any serious involvements. What he does have is the band and its success and he won’t risk that for anything.

With the other band members coupled up. Herb and Martha are thrown together on their own. When Martha confesses that she can’t orgasm except solo, Herb promises that he can change that, if she’ll soften her rule. Martha expects this to be a one-night exemption, but he’s smart enough to understand this is a long-term issue. He’s not rushing this. Even if it makes both incredibly frustrated.

They’ve been friends for ten years. They can handle this without feelings being involved, can’t they? Because the one thing they can’t do is break up the band.
